Helen is a Manager in the Hamilton Murphy corporate insolvency team, with over seven years’ experience in the corporate insolvency and turnaround space.
Helen is a Chartered Accountant, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has a double degree in business accounting and management with an economics major.
Helen has worked across all types of corporate recovery and turnaround engagements involving distressed businesses across various industries including manufacturing, construction, retail, financial services, hospitality, property, and mining.
Helen is particularly interested in working capital management, cash flow forecasting and monitoring and finding commercial and creative solutions for companies through all stages of the business life cycle.
Helen enjoys trading on businesses and providing ongoing information, support, and advice to stakeholders through challenging circumstances.
Helen has had the opportunity to work with and for a wide array of different types of stakeholder groups often with conflicting interests including bankers, other lenders and creditors, suppliers, shareholders, directors, employees, and regulators.
Helen has worked on some of Australia’s largest and most complex distressed asset and business sales and has been heavily involved in managing high profile litigation.
