Emma is Associate Director within the Personal Insolvency Team at Hamilton Murphy Advisory. Emma has knowledge of both Australian and UK insolvency law and has considerable experience in fraud investigation, working on a number of cross border insolvency assignments.
Emma commenced her career in Insolvency at Grant Thornton UK, working in the largest team in the UK focused on asset tracing and recovery for global clients.
Emma has over 12+ years’ experience at forensically analysing an insolvent parties’ affairs, having worked on a number of assignments which include asset tracing on complex personal and corporate insolvency matters utilising the powers under the Bankruptcy Act.
Emma has successfully initiated claims against related and unrelated parties to recover funds in respect of antecedent transactions on behalf of creditors.
Emma’s ability to analyse complex matters, develop strategies, and build relationships makes her a valued member of the team.
Emma advises individuals on all aspects of personal insolvency including Bankruptcy, Personal Insolvency Agreements (Part X) and informal arrangements.
