Naina is a Manager with HM Advisory and a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA). She commenced her career in Public Practice 20 years ago, while living and working in the Pilbara and Goldfield regions of Regional Western Australia. During this time, Naina assisted small and medium enterprises meet their tax planning and compliance needs.

In 2015, she branched into the Personal Insolvency space, assisting distressed individuals through informal arrangements, Personal Insolvency Agreements, Bankruptcies and Compositions. Naina has since gained a thorough knowledge of the Bankruptcy Act and has extensive experience with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) and Australian Finance and Restructuring Authority (AFSA) compliance, as well as Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) hearings.

Naina is adept at thinking outside the square and is a firm believer that all possible avenues of negotiation via informal processes should be exhausted prior to considering formal insolvency options. Now working within the Corporate Insolvency team at HM Advisory, Naina has taken a special interest in the new insolvency processes available to small companies, being the Small Business Restructuring and Simplified Liquidation processes.

Naina is also a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association (ARITA).
