He is known for his practical, common-sense approach and his ability to build strong relationships with people from all walks of life. Roer works closely with stakeholders of distressed businesses, including directors, financiers, employees, unsecured creditors, and their professional advisers, helping to deliver balanced and commercially focused outcomes.

Throughout his career, Roer has been involved in a wide range of formal insolvency appointments, including Voluntary Administrations, Deeds of Company Arrangement (DOCAs), Liquidations, and Receiverships. His extensive experience enables him to navigate complex situations with professionalism, empathy, and a focus on achieving the best possible outcome for all parties involved.

Outside of work, Roer enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is also a passionate sports fan and enjoys participating in a variety of sporting activities.
